A Bit About Me
Born and raised in the Midwest state of Missouri. I moved to New York City in 2011. Inspired from the
Midwest's wide open spaces & fast-paced energy of New York City, I enjoy utilizing white space, artsy fonts, and layouts. Additionally I am a dog lover, So I had to jump at the opportunity to design products for cats and dogs in 2014. Influenced by modern & current trends of home furnishing & fashion. Some of my favorite projects were seasonly-oriented bandanas and dog toys.

I have been able to build solid trusting relationships with my coworkers, factory managers in China, and the sales team. I understand the process start of product development to design, pre-production outline and textile strike-offs, to production finalization and how the sales team wants a product displayed. I am passionate about working with a team to create new products to help the consumer out. I enjoy working in Adobe Illustrator to create textiles and repeats to be printed on cotton, canvas, microsuede, or polyester to name a few of my preferred fabrics. I found it fascinating designing a print on a computer and it coming to life 3-Dimensional. A product that is in stores or online and is purchased from retailers to sell to consumers.

A professional accomplishment is being open to learn many sides of the manufacturing business and being professional across the board.
When I am not working, I enjoy discovering new trends and textile designs on platforms such as Instagram, Etsy, Pinterest or even just walking around the city to draw inspiration. I also enjoy spending time with my husband, 1-year old daughter, and mini-dachshund named Eva. We are part of a Dachshund Club with multiple meetups and hangouts at the park when the weather is nice. We also enjoy walks in Central Park, Natural History Museum, going to a fun activity around the city, cooking dinner at home, connecting with friends and family, and traveling to a new city.
